Savage. Model 99T Cal. 303 Savage. 20" barrel. Manufactured 1939. This is the rarest of the 99s and the hardest to come across. Made only for five years between 1935 and 1939, this one being the last year of production. Buckhorn rear sight, Sporting front ramp sight. Has cartridge counter on side, and cocking indicator on top tang. This gun is in excellent condition, with 85-90 % blue remaining, mall rub on bottom of receiver. Gun rack? carry wear? See picture. Lever case colors are vivid. Sling swivels attached to stock and forend. All screw heads are unmolested and in excellent condition. Checkering on forend and stock is crisp and strong. The nicely oiled walnut wood is also in excellent original condition with raised grain. Bore is bright and in excellent condition. Bolt is shinny and smooth. This is a high condition Savage model 99T which most people have never even seen. Serial # 388102
