SOLD For sale is a longrifle in the style of Jacob Dickert made by Don Secondine from a plank of sugar maple and sheet brass. The .45 caliber Colerain barrel is 42” long. The bore is excellent, bright and shiny. The lock is a Bud Siler design by R.E. Davis fitted with a set trigger. The rifle has developed a mellow patina over the eight years I have owned it. It has a few minor dings and scratches acquired during that time. There is a barely noticeable repaired crack about 6” long about mid-way on the right side of the forestock (picture 2). The wood split when I clumsily removed a barrel pin. A silver thumb piece decorates the wrist and a silver star is inlet in the cheek piece. Engraving embellishes the patch box, toe plate, and star, light carving the butt stock, and Jacob Dickert’s signature the barrel. Call or email with questions.
