Description:
24" SxS shoe-lump barrels with ramp front sight and flip-up twilight bead, smooth concave rib, sling eye, and raised matted quarter rib with 1 standing and 2 folding gold-lined express sights. 14 3/8" pull from articulated front trigger to Silvers red rubber recoil pad. Fully figured walnut stock with lever-release splinter forend, capped pistol grip, classic point-pattern checkering, teardrops, sling eye, and vacant silver oval. Anson & Deeley boxlock action with double Purdey underbites, Scott's spindle toplever, doll's head third fastener, bushed firing pins, and automatic top tang safety with SAFE inlaid in silver. Weight 11lbs, 15oz. Birmingham proofed for 80 grains cordite and 570 grain bullet under the rules of 1904 - 1925. Built early 1920s. 99%+blue, 99% casehardening colors with crisp engraving, tight and with excellent bores. Although it couldn't truly be, it appears virtually new.
