Mauser. Model. K98. Cal 8mm. 24" barrel. All matching number Nazi marked, WWII German Mauser 98 short rifle. Bridge is dated 1943. Has "BYF" factory code. Standard shoulder arm of the German Armed Forces during WW II. This Mauser remains in incredible all original condition with complete matching numbers to include: frame, barrel, barrel bands, rear sight, stock, safety, bolt, bolt handle, floor plate and trigger guard. A wonderful bring back, attic found rifle. Walnut stock is excellent condition with some minor bruises. Steel buttplate marked "ORG". Excellent bore and perfect action. Has original cleaning rod and front sight hood attached. All metal parts retain around 75% blue finish. Mechanically excellent. An excellent example of an all original WWII 98 Nazi Mauser. Serial # 23253.
