EARLY WINCHESTER 1ST YEAR MODEL 1906 RIFLE IN RARE .22 SHORT CALIBER. Serial number "384XX", circa 1905-06. 97% original blue with signs of use but brilliant color. Crisp barrel address and serial number. 20" round barrel with original factory sights. Plain wood with no checkering correct. All screws unturned save lower tang screw. Excellent wood with few signs of carry from period of use. Original Winchester Trademark around wagon wheel hard rubber buttplate complete with no cracks or losses. Prime 1st year of production 1906. Accompanied by factory letter stating shipped August 25, 1906.
