MINT UNUSED SAVAGE MODEL 99, 99M PE OR 99-PE PRESENTATION GRADE .284WIN LEVER ACTION WESTERN EDITION RIFLE, CIRCA 1965-1970. Serial number "11426xx". At the time they only came in 22" barrels and in only three calibers for presentation grades (.243, .284 and .308). Extensively engraved with elk on left and mountain lion on right under factory 100% original coin finish with no blemishes. Gold plated trigger, safety. Crisply checkered buttstock and forend just like the day it was cut. Original varnish over deluxe wood brilliantly figured. Original Savage buttplate with unturned screws. Factory sling swivel studs. Blued steel pistol grip cap. Factory sights on barrel with 100% original brilliant blue. Mint unfired bore and rifling. Don't believe ever carried or fired. Wish we had the box. One of only 500 made.
