RARE CIVIL WAR REMINGTON .44 CAL. NEW MODEL ARMY NEW JERSEY CONTRACT REVOLVER CA. 1863. All original and matching with barrel stamped on the left side “N.J.” in the larger of the two lettering sizes seen on these. Seldom encountered. Superb original 90% plus bright blue finish overall and near mint grips. Hammer even has all the case colors. Only 1000 made on the New Jersey contract during the Civil War. Near mint bright bore and chambers. Exceptional Karl Moldenhauer Collection provenance and first time on the market in four decades.
