This is an 100% original HOLLAND & HOLLAND falling block very rare Fields Patent Action in .450 caliber. This gun was ordered by king Singh of India in 1885
It comes with the original copy of the bill of sale and the authentication letter from Holland & Holland. Please see included pictures.
The metal shows a brown patina but there is no rust or pitting anywhere on the rifle. The bore is remarkably brite a good 9 out of 10.
The exhibition grade wood stock shows shrinkage due to age, some hairline cracks near the pistol grip and normal ware throughout.
This firearm is in perfect working condition for the appropriate caliber.
