A fine antique blacksmith's shop Cone Mandrel, cast iron measuring 51 1/4 inches tall and 16 inches across the base. All 3 retaining holes are perfect, no crack and no damage. This cone mandrel is probably over 100 years old. Weighs about 200 lbs. Cone mandrels are a necessary tool for a complete blacksmith shop for shaping and forging round objects of iron or steel. Wheelwrights used them everyday. The old saying "Beat the daylights out of it" came from a blacksmith using a cone mandrel. Local pickup only. USPS Money orders or personal checks are fine.
