.38 S&W M&P “Pre-Model 10” 4” barrel. Built on the square butt K frame with five screws. Production began in early 1945, this one being built between 1947-48 with a serial number and prefix “S-997642”. Fluted 6 shot cylinder, nominal action wear for its age. Like new. Serrated trigger and finely checkered hammer.
