A beautifully engraved pre war 16ga. boxlock extractor gun by Herman Eichorn and Son of Rostov Germany.This gun has 30" Krupp steel barrels choked modified (.022") and full (.036").In addition,it comes with a set of full length Briley 28ga.insert tubes with screw in chokes.The receiver is fully engraved with game scenes surrounded by Germanic scroll.Other features include cocking indicators,intercepting sears,double Purdey style underbites,a Greener crossbolt,and a European cheekpiece.The bores are bright and free of rust or dents.The barrels are on face and lock up with no play.The wood is sound and free of any cracks or damage other than a few handling marks.The gun weighs 6-2 and handles smoothly,balancing on the hinge.A great all around double for all types of upland shooting.C&R eligble.
