This is the standard two tone mdl. 1934. Because of a difference in the metal, the blued finish on the slide and barrel come out with a soft plum color. In this instance, because of some holster wear and slight use, the slide and barrel have lost about 20% of the plum color.
The frame has retained about 95% of the original blue just showing some sharp edge silvering and some very slight toning of the grip straps. There are no pits, scratches or flakes anywhere. All parts match.
The left rear of the frame is stamped Crown/RE, the right side is stamped Crown/FAG/39. The plastic grip panels are flawless and show no wear. The grip screws are not marred in anyway.
The gun locks up tight and functions properly. The bore is like the rest the gun and shows very little use, it is mirror bright with very sharp rifling and just hint of frost.
The gun comes with one proper finger grip magazine. While not minty, it is really in great condition and priced very modestly for the conservative collector.....$445.
