28" SxS barrels of Krupp steel with raised concave matted rib and fine brass bead front sight choked improved cylinder & modified. 14 5/8"pull from front trigger to original buttplate. 1 1/2" - 2 3/4" drop. 1/4" cast off. Highly figured European walnut stock with Deeley-release splinter forend, capped pistol grip, classic point-pattern checkering, beaded pancake cheekpiece, and sling swivels. Sidelock action with side clips, Greener crossbolt, cocking indicators, bushed firing pins and automatic top tang safety. Extensively deep-chiseled oak-leaf and game-scene engraving on casehardened receiver by Merkel master engraver Olaf Weiss: a pointer flushing pheasants on left, a fox catching ducks on right, and flushing grouse on underside. 2 inch wedge of chiseled oakleaves on breech. Weight: 7lbs. Built 2002. Virtually new, in original box.
