Gallagher Carbine .52 caliber, 22" barrel, S/N 22655. Lockplate stamped Manfactr by Richardson & Overman Philada/Gallager's Patent July 17th, 1860. Two-piece iron patchbox and side bar with saddle ring. Condition:
Barrel retains traces of the original blued finish the rest is turning a plum finish mixed with blue. The receiver has turned a dull silver grey. Bore is fair. Stock has some dings and dents; with a very light cartouche.
