Absolutely amazing condition and devilishly scarce. This must have been a Chief inspector's desk princess.
The remaining original blue is at the worst 98-99%. There is some very slight muzzle, sideplate and sharp edge silvering and that's it.
There are no pits or rust anywhere. There are some very scattered slight surface scratches. The grip straps are almost flawless. The rear does have a very minute surface rub mark.
The balance is flawless. All numbered parts match. The toggle has the correct commercial Mauser Banner. The right side of the slide is stamped with the police Eagle/L. The left side of the barrel above the serial number is stamped Eagle/Swastika. The grips, like the rest of the gun, are near perfect. No chips or cracks. Just a flattened point or two.
The bolt face, feed ramp, and slide rails show minimal use. The bore is super bright with razor sharp rifling.
There is every indication that this gun wasn’t used or even holstered very much.
It comes with one correct Police TDK magazine not numbered to the gun but with the 1 stamp and no military inspectors mark. Which is proper for the gun.
Too pretty to shoot but just right as the center piece of your collection......$2995.
