BRITISH PERCUSSION BOX LOCK TURN BARREL .50 CAL. POCKET PISTOL SIGNED SMITH/LONDON CA. 1827-30’S. 2 ½” round smoothbore barrel with British proofs on the underside at the breech. Retractable trigger. Flattened bag shaped walnut grip. Lock engraved with “STAND-OF-FLAGS” cartouches alternately engraved within “SMITH” AND “LONDON”. Grey case hardened breech and lock with blued barrel now turned medium grey. Hammer engraved with “DOLPHIN HEAD” motif. Superior condition overall with fine bore and perfect working order. Grip with all the finish. Extra nice example.
