Description:
Sold Pending Funds / Luger P.08 Pistol with Thai Police Markings, serial # 35xx, cal. 9 mm, has a 4" barrel with a good to good plus bore that shows evident rifling but with light peppery pitting its full length. The metal surfaces retain about 97% Arsenal ? reworked finish. The toggle is scrubbed and void of markings, however the chamber is 1917-dated and shows a flat at the top front of the receiver indicating it once was an LP-08 pistol. This pistol has mixed parts with only a few parts matching one another most likely done at a Arsenal during rebuild, gun functions correctly. The checkered walnut grips rate about very good with compressed or worn points showing along with some varnish within the grooves, both grips are numbered "19" and fit very well. The backstrap shows Siamese/Thai characters while the right rear of the frame has Bangkok Police markings that show what appears to be some type of head in a Circle and three characters that translate to 249. There is a single bright-bodied wood base magazine included.  Overall a very interesting German P.08 pistol that's in good plus to very good condition.  Inv.: # 1-1318
