VERY RARE LINDSAY YOUNG AMERICA TWO SHOT PERCUSSION POCKET DERRINGER CA. 1861. Double hammer, muzzle loading, superposed load .41 cal. Deringer with 4” octagon barrel engraved on the left side with a “STAND OF FLAGS” and on the right with a floral panel and the Lindsay Young America/New York address even though made by Union Knife Co. of Naugatuck, Connecticut. Brass frame engraved with game scenes on both sides. Exceptionally fine and all original and matching. Barrel with 70% plus blue mixed with patina. Frame an unpolished umber color. Rosewood grips with the original finish. Working order and very good bore. Only about 300 made.
