ALL BRASS SINGLE SHOT PARLOR PISTOL CA. 1860. Earliest of Rider’s Deringer’s made by Remington and extremely rare with between 100-200 made. Smallest Remington ever made. Only a few dozen survive at most. 100% original and matching though they were not serial numbered. Floral factory engraving on frame and traces of original gold plating in the recesses with the brass a beautiful dark umber color. Left side of barrel stamped in small letters “RIDERS PT./SEPT 13. 1859”. Working order and very good bore. Fired by percussion cap only.
