Description:
An English percussion commercial fowler with 34" Damacus barrels marked "London Fine Twist". Barrel flats marked"H&S" with Birmingham proofs. Muzzels are: L=1.02", R=1.o35". Long trigger guard,blank brass escutcheon, and recessed cap holder. Overall weight of 15 pounds. Strong and crisp locks and hammers. Not warranted for shooting. Half cock is solid. Strong,heavy duty walnut stock. Company founded by Hollis brothers in 1830 at #10-11 Weaman Row Brimingham England. Makers famous for manufacturing large bore guns for South African hunting market and UK. military. Very few have survived as well as this one. Thought to be one of only three in USA.
