This is a Remington Model 24 rifle in .22 Short. The action shows blue remaning with freckling. The barrel shows about 70% blue with handling marks and a little light pitting. The bore has traces of rifling and some pitting. The walnut pistol grip butt stock appears to havre been sanded, and the fore end is a replacement in wood.
