This is one of the rarest guns out there, with only 64,000 1876's made, and then figure in the percentage of them being 50 calibers.., and then figure out how many were Extra Heavy's. This rifle has a good looking 140yr old even patina, with a smoothly functioning action, and a very shootable bore. It has a 26" massive full octagon Extra Heavy barrel with all correct Winchester markings. This rifle letters just as you see it, but it doesn't mention the weight of barrel, but is easy to see that everything on it has lived together for a lifetime. The wood fits very well and has a very pleasing color and look.
?A rifle that would be a terrific addition to any collection.
