Payment Types Accepted: Certified Check, Postal Money Order, Personal Check Description: This stunning LC Smith 12-gauge Specialty Grade shotgun has beautifully figured wood, pristine engraving, substantial original case color, and flawless barrels. The wood is reconditioned by drawing out accumulated petroleum-based oils, replacing the natural oils through the application of a hand-rubbed stock-oil finish, and recutting the checking. The barrels are refinished using the slow rust blue process. The 30” barrels are choked Improved Modified (.025) and Full (.035). The wall thicknesses (top/side/bottom) for the right barrel at 9” from muzzle are .035/.032/.038 and at the middle of the barrel are .038/.032/.040. The wall thicknesses of the left barrel are .031/.030/.038 and .032/.030/.040, respectively. Bores 9” from the breech are both .729. The drop at the comb is 1-5/8” and at the heel 2-1/2”. Length of pull from the front trigger to the end of the original buttplate is 14 inches. The gun weighs 8 pounds. The pull for the right trigger is 5-1/2 pounds and for the left 4-1/2 pounds. The gun locks up tight and on face; the top lever returns to the right of center. All serial numbers, S48794, match. The price does not include original shipping costs, which are paid by buyer. The inspection period is 7 days from receipt. The gun has been fired using standard factory 2-3/4” target loads. However, as for any antique or vintage shotgun, it is recommended that the new owner have it inspected his or her gunsmith before firing. The gun carries a 30-day warrantee, during which Back in Time will have any mechanical problems documented by a professional gunsmith repaired or accept the return of the gun and refund the price of the gun and the return shipping cost.
