This beauty is regarded by many competition shooters as one of best snipers of WW II. Just to get started every part on this beauty is all matching including the scope mount, scope rings and the original scope can. While the can does have some numbers hastily painted and scratched out on both sides the lid is indeed stamped matching the entire of seeing very little use.
Only the extractor has some slight surface rub marks. The rest of the metal parts are almost flawless. The blue is at least 98-99% no pits, scratches, or nicks to be found to be found anywhere.
The barrel bands trigger guard and magazine floor pate have the Swedish Crown proof mark.
The stock has some dings and scratches. The buttstock has the correct brass sighting disc and has a couple of small dings or nicks near the toe. The upper handguard does have a 4 inch pressure mark, presumably by something heavy pressing on it. I would guess about 4" long and about 1/16" deep.
The bore is mirror bright with very distinct rifling and slight scattered frost.
The rifle comes with one original sniper sling and the previously mentioned matching scope can. This would be an awesome addition to any sniper collection and should be a joy at the range. Plus, there are no import marks anywhere........(Reduced!)$4450......
