Description:
This is an Anschutz 1407/1807 Match 54 action single shot .22lr target rifle. It has been completely refinished and accurized. It is an Anschutz Match 54 1407 action, in an Anschutz 1807 stock. The original used Match 54 Anschutz barrel has been replaced with a newer, more accurate, Match 54 Anschutz factory barrel...shown is a 5 shot test group of .155 inches, center to center, fired at 50 meters outdoors, prone off a sandbag using RWS R50. That is .30 MOA accuracy. How many times can you buy a gun and see the test group before buying? The stock is in excellent condition, hand-rubbed oil finish...no plastic Anschutz factory coating here. The barrel has been custom Cerakoted in a proprietary mix of Stainless and Satin Mag. The action and custom bolt knob have been Cerakoted Stoplight Red for a one of a kind finish. Action screws are Hex head bolts. The trigger is single stage and breaks crisply, and repeatedly, at exactly 1 lb with no take-up, over-travel, nor creep. The rifle comes complete and ready to compete with an Anschutz International rear sight and front sight. Also included are the hand-stop and bipod. This is an excellent value...don't confuse this gun with the Junior model that the CMP sells...that is a Mod 64 action...this is a MATCH 54 ACTION and BARREL. The stock was broken at the wrist but has been professionally repaired to stronger than original by installation of a solid plug. I built this rifle and am a 12 time World Champion in various shooting sports and holder of a National Record in Int'l 3 Position, and many State Championships.
