Super condition at the very least.
Some very slight muzzle and sharp edge silvering and that's it. An easy 99% original finish is remaining. Surprisingly, the machining is not a rough as is usually found on the later guns. There is no rust, pin pricks, scratches or rub marks anywhere. Just a pristine example of the the scarcer P-38.
The right side of the frame is stamped Eagle/53, Eagle/Swastika. Eagle/53.
The barrel block is also stamped cyq and Eagle/Swastika/. The bore like the rest of the gun is pristine. The rifling is sunshine bright and razor sharp without a hint of frost.
The grip strap shows no graying. All numbers match. The brown mottled plastic grips are perfect. Not a chip or a crack anywhere, not even a rub mark. The grip screw is not marred.
The bolt face, slide rails and feed ramp show little or no evidence of use.
The gun comes with one correct P-38 stamped magazine. A real beauty for the collector and great fun at the firing line...... $1095.
