Description:
Browniing Safari in 243 Caliber with Pencil Barrel and Long Claw Extractor built by Sako for Browning during the critical Salt Wood era. The wood is much nicer than the Salt Wood used by Browning in 1968 ( This guns year of manufacture ), containing " NO SALT ". Much Darker than the light color used on the Safari's with more Figure ( See Photos ). Can find little or no handling marlks on the wood. Metal is 99% with only wear being the gold fill in the engraving on the floor-plate. The Wood and Metal on this gun are nearly Flawless. Rear Sight has been removed, replaced with a Redfield One Piece Scope Mount. Believe this gun has been handled more than shot. It is a Beauty. FFL required unless Florida Resident.
