Description:
This is a Colt Match Pistol in cal .38 AMU and barrel has this Colt Marking. It is built on a Colt .38 Super Pistol and serial no puts it about 1954 which was when these guns were being made. Pistol has a lot of custom work - trigger, etc., etc, etc. Best to look at photos. Included is a very rare pair of original FITZ target grips of rosewood or dark walnut and grips are so marked. I'm sure there is someone out there that can tell us more about this fine match pistol. Only one we have seen in many years.
