EARLY AND FINE REMINGTON U.S. MARTIAL .36 CAL. TRANSITION OLD MODEL 1861 ARMY-NAVY REVOLVER CA. 1861. All original and matching in the 15xxx range with the early Beal’s frame with threads of the barrel concealed by the frame which is flush with the face of the cylinder. 7 ½” barrel addressed “PATENTED DEC. 17.1861/MANUFACTURED BY REMINGTONS ILION. N.Y.”. Completely U.S. Ordnance inspected on all major parts and having a fine “CGC” script cartouche on the left grip flat. Barrel and cylinder with 50% plus blue and frame a deep grey patina. Excellent bore and perfect working order. Grips with all the original finish. Really nice and with old collection provenance.
