Description:
Nice Springfield Trapdoor S.R.C. .45-70 caliber. Has a 22" barrel with a very good bore. Top of Buttplate is marked "US". Marked "U.S. /MODEL/1873" on top of reciever. Also marked" 126242". Has an" Eagle" and "U.S./ SPRINGFIELD" On right side of reciever. Has an Elevator with ladder rear sight. Blade bead, front sight. Has , "VP", "P", and an "R", stamped on barrel in front of reciever. Has saddle ring. Metal is all smooth brown patina. Reciever is silver-grey color. Wood is solid and shows some handling marks. Has an "L" stamped behind the bottom tang. Has a "U" on the barrel band. I can find no cartouche. Buyer pays $35.00 shipping to lower 48 states. I accept USPS Money Orders and Bank Cashier's Check. Will accept Personal check, with shipping hold. Layaway available!
