Description:
The Colt Police Positive Special (First Issue) was made from 1907 to 1927. The 6-shot revolvers were fitted with either a 4, 5, or 6 inch barrel, checkered hard rubber grips, were blue or nickel finished, and chambered in either .32-20 WCF, .32 New Police, .38 New Police, or .38 Special. This 1921 vintage gun is as described and is fitted with a 4 inch barrel, is blue finished, and chambered in .38 Special. It is in excellent condition, retaining 98% of its original blue finish, with thinning at the muzzle and some minor thinning on some of the sharp edges of the cylinder and frame. The grips, which number to the gun, are in excellent condition, with only a couple of very minor handling marks. The bore is excellent and the action functions perfectly, with a very tight lock-up.
