RARE ABERCROMBIE & FITCH WINCHESTER MODEL 67 SMOOTHBORE .22 S., L., L.R. RIFLE CIRCA 1930’S. 27” barrel marked to the rear of the barrel address “MODEL 67-22 SHORT/LONG AND LONG RIFLE” and to the rear of the sight “SMOOTHBORE”. All original and 95% original blue and all the original stock finish. Stock with a few carry scratches on underside but very minimal. Barrel with a few small areas of shallow pinprick salt and pepper a few inches in front of forend on right side about 1/4" wide will clean to nil. Butt of semi pistol grip correctly stamped "W2051"(Since Winchester at the time did not serial their rimfire rifles Abercrombie & Fitch took to numbering them to keep track of inventory). Takedown screw unturned. Mint bore and perfect working order. An exceptionally nice example of the very scarce “Smoothbore” Model 67.
