Browning Classic 1 of 5000 (No. 1273) Auto-5 12 ga Shotgun.
—This is a limited production (only 5000 made) Classic Browning Auto-5 12 gauge shotgun with high grade walnut furniture! It was preowned and seldom hunted when I bought it 10+ years ago, and have never hunted, or shot it. Bolt face shows very little, if any use. Action is very smooth. Just a few handling marks from moving in and out of the safe. Very very hard to find these days. Box was discarded as it was coming apart. Add this great 12 Gauge Browning Classic Auto-5 to your Collection. Priced considerably under market.
Produced in Japan as 1273 of 5000, with the decoration performed in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale. Single nickel bead sight, with 2 3/4" chamber and modified choke. Satin gray receiver, with photo-etched and engraved scrollwork, game scenes and bust of John Browning, artist signature on the left rear. Fancy walnut round knob pistol grip stock, with dot-bordered checkering on the forearm and wrist, 14" pull and FN/ Browning buttplate.
