Description:
The Colt Pre-Woodsman was made from 1915 to 1927 with approximately 54,000 manufactured. The pistols were fitted with a 6 5/8 inch barrel, 10-shot magazine, adjustable front sight, adjustable rear sight, bottom magazine release, blue finished, and were chambered in .22 Long Rifle (standard velocity). This gun is as described and is fitted with the 6 5/8 inch pencil barrel (early guns, serial 1-31,000 were as fitted). It is in excellent condition, retaining about 95% of its original blue finish, with some minor thinning at the muzzle and back-strap. The grips are in excellent condition, with sharp checkering and no chips or cracks. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, and the action functions perfectly.
