Ruger introduced the Security Six in 1970 and made it for 15 years. The 2 3/4 inch barrel is uncommon as many were made with 4 inch and 6 inch barrels. This example has 98% of its original blue finish and the bore and grips are excellent. It has an adjustable rear sight so the gun can be regulated for any .38 Special or .357 Magnum load. This is a very strong and reliable handgun for much less than the cost of a Colt or Smith of comparable size and caliber.
