Civil War Konverter®
NEW UNFIRED. The Civil War Konverter® looks like a standard Cap & Ball cylinder; but it has all the Kirst Konverter™ advantages. Perfect for Civil War re-enactors who need to keep their firearms looking historically correct, but like the convenience of quickly loading black powder blanks or for 38 Special hollow base live ammo.. Drops right in most revolvers and converts your cap and ball into a cartridge revolver. Some minor fitting may be required. No FFL required. SASS legal with a lifetime manufactures warranty. All Kirst Cartridge Konverters are precision CNC machined in the USA from 4140 Steel and heat-treated. The cylinders are for black powder ammunition or "Equivalent Loads Only," which includes the current Cowboy Loads on the market. This must NEVER be installed in brass framed revolvers. Not recommend for original antique Remington Revolvers. Due to the groove diameter of the revolvers that this converter is used in you MUST use ammunition that uses hollow base bullets. Most full wad cutters are hollow base and available in good gun shops.
