Description:
This is a 20 Ga. Double Barrel Lefever Nitro Special manufactured by Ithaca Gun Company in 1923. Bluing is faded to a light silver color and any case color is long gone. The butt stock appears to have been altered from semi pistol grip to straight grip and shows indications of having been repaired.
The 28" barrels are factory choked Cylinder bore on the right barrel and Full choke on the left. The gun locks up tight and the break lever is to the right of center. It has the usual minor scratches you would expect to see on a gun this old. On the under side of the barrel rib, there are two drilled holes which may have been for a sling. The gun is fully functional and shoots fine. both bores are smooth and shiny. Although the bluing is mostly gone, there is almost no rust or pitting.
