Description: 30" No.1 oct bbl, patented ivory bead front sight, Buckhorn rear sight. Stocks are very good, full sized, with only minor handling marks overall, of straight grained American walnut with checkered wrist and forearm, steel shotgun buttplate, and Schnabel forend with ebony insert. Checkering is after market, nicely accomplished. Forearm checkering shows some bruising. Bbl retains 60-70% blue finish with some staining towards the muzzle around the sight. Sights are very good. Bbl markings are sharp and clear. Bore is very good with strong rifling. Receiver shows 50% muted case color overall, with some light scratches and stains. Hammer shows generous traces of case colors, especially at the rear. Lever is a plum/brown patina with traces of case color in protected areas. Buttplate is a mottled gray/brown patina with some roughness. Ebony insert is fine. SOLD |
