Description:
Custom rifle built on a Winchester Model 1885 High Wall thick side receiver with single set trigger, beautifully engraved by famous Master Engraver Lynton Mckenzie (signed, deceased). The action has a fine scroll engraving and game bird scenes on both sides of the receiver. Traces of the Winchester patent marking remain on the lower tang, otherwise there are no Winchester markings. Custom tapered 26" barrel fitted with a Leupold 2-7x Vari-X II scope. Nicely figured and checkered stock with left handed cheekpiece, engraved grip cap and Pachmayr butt pad. Caliber 22 Super Jet to be confirmed. Weight 8.5lb w/o scope.
