Description:
SOLD These pistols were made in early to mid 1850's. Estimated production is only 1000. Caliber is .36 and the bore is rifled. The seven inch barrel is part round part octagon. To load the pistol you raise the lever which allows for breech loading of the unique Marston patent leather base paper cartridge. Action works perfectly and is tight. The barrel address is almost complete. Missing is part of the 1850 date. Only the 1 and a partial 8 can be seen. Grips are original with a small chip on each side of the backstrap at the heel. The frame is nicely engraved. For those of you who like to have something your neighbor doesn't have, this one might be just right for you. American Arms & Antiques item #1711
