he Vietnam War Commemorative Thompson Machine Gun is number 0215 of only 1500 ever made worldwide and is Dedicated to Honoring the Americans who fought the Communists in the Vietnam War.…”Lest We Forget.” Auto-Ordnance Corporation, the creator of the “Thompson” was commissioned to custom build this commemorative. Each rifle is as rugged and accurate as the ones used during the Vietnam War. All of the components of this commemorative Thompson are fully interchangeable with the original carried by American fighting troops in combat, assuring the authenticity of this military firearm. The Thompson is identical in weight and balance to the rifle issued to our troops in Vietnam. This beautiful Thompson is further enhanced with a stock made from finest select walnut, with outstanding grain and figure which is hand finished and polished to a brilliant gloss. The receiver is highly inscribed with quotations from both Presidents Kennedy and Reagan. The major steel components are polished to a mirror shine and many are richly plated in 24-karat gold or blued to a gloss black finish. Additionally, two specially created cloisonné, fired-enamel, gold medallion featuring gold platted inscription in black, symbolic of the Vietnam War Memorial, surrounding a circularized yellow and red flag of the Republic of South Vietnam. The pistol grip is fitted with a matching medallion embossed with the Great Seal of the United States and commemorative tributes. Also included is a furniture-finished solid walnut, locking display case lined in rich plush green velvet. This is a new, never fired “Thompson” and is in mint condition. Included with your firearm is all of the original paperwork and original box. You will not find a more beautiful example of the tool that helped stop communism, safe guard our nation’s security and protect troops from harm than this Vietnam War Commemorative Thompson.
