The Vietnam War Commemorative M16 is number 0127 of only 1500 ever made worldwide and is Dedicated to Honoring the Americans who fought the Communists in the Vietnam War.…”Lest We Forget.” Like their fathers and older brothers who served before them, our Vietnam Veterans served our nation for the same principles of “duty, honor, country,” that have always guided our American troops in combat. This Vietnam War Commemorative M16 honors the service of all the brave Americans who served in Vietnam, and with this rifle in their hands, they helped to stop the spread of Communism. To honor these brave American Warriors, who defended the cause of freedom in Vietnam, BFI, Inc. was commissioned to custom build this commemorative. Each rifle is as rugged and accurate as the ones used during the Vietnam War. All of the components of this commemorative M16 are fully interchangeable with the original carried by American fighting troops in combat, assuring the authenticity of this military firearm. The M16 is identical in weight and balance to the rifle issued to our troops in Vietnam. The stocks shows off the 24-karat gold sling swivels, swivel mounts and screws which affix the military sling. The major steel components are polished to a mirror shine and many are richly plated in 24-karat gold or blued to a gloss black finish. Additionally, two specially created cloisonné, fired-enamel, gold medallion featuring gold platted inscription in black, symbolic of the Vietnam War Memorial, surrounding a circularized yellow and red flag of the Republic of South Vietnam. The pistol grip is fitted with a matching medallion embossed with the Great Seal of the United States and commemorative tributes. Also included is a furniture-finished solid walnut, locking display case lined in camouflage material signifying the BDUs worn by our troops. This is a new, never fired “M16” and is in mint condition. Included with your firearm is all of the original paperwork and original box. You will not find a more beautiful example of the tool that helped stop communism, safe guard our nation’s security and protect troops from harm than this Vietnam War Commemorative M16.
