The Korean War Commemorative M1 Garand is number 026 of only 2500 ever made worldwide and is Dedicated to Honoring the forgotten Americans who fought the Communists in The Korean War.…”Lest We Forget.” This Korean War Commemorative M1 Garand honors the service of all the brave Americans who served in Korea and with this rifle in their hands they helped to stop the spread of Communism. Springfield Amory was commissioned to custom build this commemorative. Each rifle is as rugged and accurate as the ones used during the Korean War. All of the components of this M1 Garand are fully interchangeable with the G. I. M1 Garand, assuring the authenticity of this military firearm. The M1 Garand is identical in weight and balance to the rifle issued to our troops in Korea. The stock is made from finest select walnut, with outstanding grain and figure which is hand finished and polished to a brilliant gloss. The major steel components are polished to a mirror shine and many are richly plated in 24-karat gold or blued to a gloss black finish. The Great Seal of the United States and the commemorative title are deeply etched and gold gilt in-filled along the deeply blued operating rod. Additionally, a specially created cloisonné, fired-enamel, gold medallion featuring the red and blue South Korean national symbol is inlayed into the stock. Also included is a solid walnut, locking display case lined in rich plush gray velvet. This is a new, never fired “M1 Garand” and is in mint condition. Included with your firearm is all of the original paperwork and original box along with a Certificate of Authenticity. You will not find a more beautiful example of the tool that helped stop communism, safe guard our nation’s security and protect troops from harm than this Korean War Commemorative M1 Garand.
