This is a NIB 6 inch Colt Python that was manufactured in 1979. On consignment for the original owner who
has never fired the gun. The factory grease had dried like concrete and it took some elbow grease to remove it.
I had to spray the gun with a heavy coat of gun oil and let it soak for 24 hours before I could free the cylinder.
So this Python is about perfect with just the faintest of a turn line. Cylinder latches retain all the blue finish so
the action has not been worked. The box is numbered to the gun and comes with all the paperwork it shipped with
38 years ago. The box is in ok condition and it should be noted that it does not have a factory end label rather it is handwritten
in permanent marker. Factory no doubt!
This is a NIB example of a 6 inch Colt Python with a royal blue finish.
