Description:
First year K frame S & W Combat Magnum (serial # 262119) 1955 mfg. Very nice with 80% + of the original bright S & W blue. Bare metal at muzzle, backstrap, bottom of trigger guard, and parts of the cyl. Multiple handling marks 4" barrel w/ shiny bore, no pitting. Pinned barrel, recessed cyl chambers. Target hammer, trigger and grips. Adjustable rear sight . Action fine and tight, with the famous smooth S & W trigger pull. All matching number on butt, cylinder AND on the barrel in the ejector rod shroud. Unusual for the serial number on the barrel; this may have been a custom ordered Combat Mag. Thin surface crack on right grip panel by the S & W logo, cannot be seen on the inside. Nice historic S & W. Ask questions. Buyer pays all shipping. $25 US priority mail in the US. C&R OK.
