Description:
This is for a unique antique shotgun made by Krider of Philadelphia. I have not been able to date this gun as I have not found another like it on online or in any of my reference books. Numerous pictures are posted to help the buyer understand the superlative quality of this firearm.
The details of the rifle are as follows;
• Black powder.
• Percussion lock.
• Smoothbore barrel.
• Highly figured walnut half stock.
• Weight of rifle = 4 lbs.
• LOP = 13.5”
• Overall Length = 51”
• Barrel Length = 36”
• Drop at Heel = 2.5”
• Outside Barrel Diameter at Muzzle = .670”
• Inside Barrel Diameter at Muzzle = .452”
• Fittings on stock appear to be sterling silver.
• Two gold bands on barrel.
• Engraving on lock and trigger guard.

Overall condition of the shotgun would rate a good condition or better. You will find numerous aesthetic marks on the stock but no cracks. The finish on the metal is thin in places and area of the barrel near the flash hole has minor pitting consistent with black powder guns of this era.
This is a smaller than normal scale firearm of the highest intricate workmanship. The craftsmanship is outstanding especially when observing the metal to wood fit. The lock and trigger guard is engraved in a simple pattern. Please look over the pictures and ask questions if needed. We run a considerable number of firearms and related merchandise through our retail store and this is one of the best pieces we have had in a long time.
