Description:
SOLD This is like nothing I have seen before. It is an eight shot .25 caliber percussion revolver with individual barrels. It even has the original rod which screws into the muzzle end of the barrels. Overall length is about 14". The barrels are about 8 1/2". Measurement at the muzzle is about 1 3/4". Weight is just over 4 lbs. It is big. Action is tight with the strongest mainspring I have encountered. Note the shield around the nipples. On the left side of the frame there is an inscription. I can't quite make it out though. Grips fit perfectly and are in very good condition. This big pistol will make a great addition to any collection. American Arms & Antiques item #1709
