Paragon grade 12ga.Built in 1896,this beautiful gun is in remarkable all original condition.It has 28" damascus barrels choked full (.030") and full (.030").The bores are mint and bright with no pits,dents,or rust.The bore diameter is .720" in each barrel and the minimum wall thickness is .033" so the gun is safe to shoot with reasonable loads.The barrels retain at least 98%of the damascus pattern.The receiver retains 50% of the original case colors and is beautifully engraved.It features 2 pointers on the left lock,2 setters on the right lock,a quail on the floorplate,and a duck on the trigger guard.The stock is highly figured dark walnut and is very sound with no cracks or damage.The stock dimensions are 141/8" LOP to the original buttplate,2" at comb,and 3" at heel.The barrels lock up tightly with no play at all.This is truly a classic piece of American sporting history.It is in remarkable condition for a 121 year old gun.Classified as an antique,so it can be shipped direct.
