ONE OF THE LOWEST SERIAL NUMBER FIRST YEAR PRODUCTION FULL DELUXE MODEL 71 .348 WCF CALIBER RIFLES I'VE SEEN! This high condition M-71 is serial number 3XX and was made in 1936, It may have been a salesman sample or exhibition rifle as it has fancier than standard walnut in the butt stock with fine dark fiddle back grain (almost never seen on a Model 71), completely original and unaltered with correct Winchester embossed pistol grip cap, checkered steel butt plate, BOLT PEEP SIGHT, and even has the super grade swivels intact, exc. wood with sharp checkering, tight wood to metal fit, about all the deep barrel and mag blue remain with only some gray on the rounded end of the mag tube and on the forend cap, receiver and bolt retain about all the deep blue also with gray on the receiver bottom only, also retains the buckhorn rear sight and front sight hood (usually missing), tight action with bright excellent bore, great super low serial number investment Winchester!
