Description:
This is the second type which rotates the cylinder automatically when the hammer is cocked. It uses the Maynard tape priming system. Which is complete. Manufacture took place in Chicopee Falls, Mass from 1851-1860. Total produced in all types, about 2500-3000. Bore in the .28 caliber 3" barrel is much better than most. It is shiny with good lands and grooves. Not much pitting at all. No issues. All numbers match with the exception of the barrel and arbor. Those two numbers are 466. The other numbers including the grips are 629. Action works as it should. American Arms & Antiques item #1713
